Winners of the Amsterdam-based '2008 Green Challenge' competition.

Founders of Ecovative Design, Eben Bayer and Gavin McIntyre, attended Advanced Invention to Venture in August 2007.  Since then, they've won a grant from New York's NYSTAR, top place in ASME's 2007 I-Show competition and the 'Tomorrow's Planet' winner of the 2007 Oxford Business Plan Competition.  Their first product, Greensulate, is a low cost, biodegradable, rigid board insulation, replacement for Styrofoam.  Read more about this exciting company here.
